Chiropractor

My journey to chiropractic was anything but linear, but one that ultimately led to a path that I love. I am from the Faroe Islands, a small country in the North Atlantic Ocean, and first came to the UK to study philosophy. There I developed an appreciation for the profound connection between the mind and body, sparking the realisation of how important health is for life and overall well-being. This perspective, combined with three years work experience in an alternative healthcare shop, I discovered a passion for working with people and natural healthcare, and subsequently decided to pursue a career in chiropractic. I graduated from the AECC University College in Bournemouth.

My approach is person-centred and holistic, focusing on the unique needs of each individual from the head down to the feet. I work with people to address a variety of concerns – from spinal and joint pains to headaches as well as improving posture and movement patterns. I am a big advocate for the benefits of barefoot walking, believing that returning to the natural movements of our bodies from the feet up can promote overall health and wellbeing. I am committed to facilitating healing through natural methods utilising a variety of chiropractic tools including health and lifestyle guidance. I believe that no one knows their body better than the person themselves, but we all need a helping hand from time to time. I continually strive to enhance my knowledge and hands-on-skills, ensuring I can provide the best possible care for each person I work with.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and am currently also studying Spanish. I keep active with practising yoga, cycling, and going for long walks in nature.
